Demolition progress

Wow! The guys from DSR don’t mess about do they?

The roof is now completely off, the side walls have come down a level (we’re leaving 3m of the side walls for our garden, and building the rest of it with brick reclaimed from the knocked down part of the walls).

And they are starting on the gallery seating tomorrow…

All the materials in the old building are being reused/claimed/cycled. The welsh slate roofing and the big roof timbers are being reclaimed, the bricks are being reused by us in the garden walls, and everything else will be recycled into hardcore.
